Warranty and Return Policy

WARRANTY
We provide one warranty for most our products but two years warranty for wheel alignment machine. Full knowledgeable tech support is provided. All merchandise is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date received. Warranty does not cover plastic wear and tear parts. Replacement parts or replacement equipment being sent to the customer does not represent an extension or renewal of the warranty period. Shipping of warranted parts is covered via ground shipping only. Customer may request expedited shipping at their own expense.  Lack of maintenance, such as not keeping oil in oil lubricator and draining water separator, not lubricating moving parts where needed, maintaining a clean environment for the product, periodically checking all parts to make sure they are functioning properly, will void the warranty. Maintenance needs to be completed regularly in order to keep warranty valid. Please contact our tech support for any help/questions you have in maintaining your quality product. Any parts a customer finds to be defective must be returned for inspection or proof provided before a replacement is shipped. All parts will be inspected by us and if found to be defective a replacement and/or repair to parts will be provided. If no defect is found, customer is responsible for all shipping costs of all parts. The shipping costs must be paid by customer prior to any parts being sent back to customer. 

 

INSTALLATION
Installation does not include the following: purchase of required oil/lube and electrical work.You must have the proper electricity/air supply in place at the location of the installation. If proper electricity/air supply is not available, customer is responsible for any cost resulting from the installer having to make multiple trips to the installation site to complete the job. If the installation site is not in a condition for safe installation of the equipment, the installer is not required to complete the job.

 

Damage/Missing Parts Policies
All shop equipment must be inspected upon receipt. Make note of any visible damage or missing pieces on the bill of lading. Protec Equipment Canada will not be liable for damages occurred by the freight company if not noted on the bill of lading.  Any missing parts or incorrect auto equipment needs to be reported within three days of receipt. Anything reported after three days of receipt will be not be covered.Please contact us with any questions you may have.

 

AUTHORIZED RETURNS
All returns must be applied with 7 days of receipt of merchandise and have to be authorized by our service representatives. A 20% restocking fee will be charged for merchandise returned to PROTEC products for reasons other than warranty. In addition to the above restocking charge, customers are also responsible for any and all applicable shipping charges incurred by PROTEC products on return shipment. Credits will be issued only after we have received the product and inspected it. Returned merchandise and its packaging must be in original condition.
